Camps are temporary housing facilities constructed for workers on resource development projects in the oil and gas, pipeline, mining and forestry industries. They are designed for workers who need comfortable/durable housing accommodations. The nature of many industries, pipeline and mining included, often require companies to move employees in an effort to follow their work. The conditions make it difficult for employees to adapt and feel comfortable while in their off-time.
