DOL: 04/22/2025 Loss facts: Unit was new at the time of damage. It was purchased on 03/21/2025 with only 187 hours. Unit was submerged . Insured operator crossing boggy area on mats • excavator sank when mat tore on stump under it. The unit sunk up to cab. Inspection reveal that this unit has heavy mud and water damage. The rear of the unit sank first. The marsh mud was very soft and this unit sank down to the point where the front of the cab was facing upwards towards the sky. The rear of the inside of the cab had approximately 3’ of mud and water and the front of the cab had approximately 2” – 3”.
